What To Do When You Disagree

There was the noisiest flock of geese flying overhead today.  They were so noisy that I could not remember when I had ever heard a flock quite so talkative.  It got me to thinking about teamwork.  What was going on with the flock?  Were they teaching the younger geese how to lead the flock and every older bird, all at the same time, was telling them how to do it?  Not only did that experience remind me of the wonders of nature but it also made me laugh!  What a wonderful way to start a morning!

What is teamwork?  I believe teamwork is all of the following:  association, concert, alliance, participation, partnership, collusion, fraternization, combination, coaction, harmony, symbiosis, synergism, union, unity, confederation, assistance, togetherness, collaboration, help, contribution, coordination, agreement and consortium.

Why not be like the geese, pick one of the words listed above, and begin to practice teamwork.  It would be a wonderful day to start a morning and end a day.

“Unity is strength… when there is teamwork and collaboration, wonderful things can be achieved.”  –  Mattie Stepanek
